This is a collection of superhero illustrations I’ve done over the years in various styles.  Most were created with a tablet in Photoshop or Manga Studio, with the exception of the Superman and Batman sketches, which were created on my iPad in Adobe Ideas using a Bamboo drawing stylus. I’ve posted some character designs for a graphic novel project I’ve been working on in my free time.  I’m not ready to give a lot of details, but I was happy with how these turned out, so I wanted to post them.  Obviously the characters have the names of Greek gods, so that’s at least a little hint. This is a collection of illustrations I did over a month’s time, where the goal was to set aside one hour, two days per week, to create some type of illustration from conception to completion.  As one would expect, the ideas are mostly topical, spanning the NHL playoffs, spying scandals, Man of Steel, and cicada season, among others.  All were created with a drawing tablet in Adobe Photoshop. An illustration created to continue a series of illustrations that were used as part of a leadership seminar.  The challenge was to create an entirely new illustration that fit with the artistic style of the previous two that had been done by a different artist.  I penciled and inked the illustration on paper and then scanned the black and white illustration into Photoshop to be colored.
